The Smart Fitness Studio

We believe that no matter what your fitness level is, data and a personalised  approach holds the key to your long term health, wellbeing, weight management and injury recovery. 


Our mission is to make fitness easy and achieveable for:

• people who dislike a noisy and intimidating gym environment

• people who are afraid to work out again after an injury or pain

• people who want to focus on their long term health and wellbeing

• people who are looking for an effective weight management solution 


How do we do this? 


When you first enter SHAiPE you will have a full body scan that then analyses your body and helps us create a program for you. After that you are given a wristband that you scan on each machine that then automatically adjusts to your individual level. No need to change any settings. 


With a trainer by your side, our equipment is safe and easy to use and you'll be able to workout in a relaxing & stress free environment. You are also given regular progress reviews to check up on your progress.

  • What are your class and access hours?

    Class schedule

    Monday, Wednesday & Friday – 5:55am, 6:45am, 5:10pm & 6pm. 

    Access Hours – 

    Mon to Fri – 5am to 10pm

    Sat & Sun – 5am to 8pm. 


  • Are SHAiPE trainers always available at the studio?

    During staffed hours our trainers are always present on the floor to discreetly supervise and motivate you each time you work out.

  • Normal gyms are intimidating, how is SHAiPE different?

    You will see no drill sergeant trainers or rows of steel dumbbells. Instead you will enjoy a relaxing, calm, convenient and fun studio in which you enjoy your work out.

  • How big is SHAiPE?

    Our studios are small and intimate. We have specifically designed our spaces to create a relaxed and personal environment where you can feel comfortable in your health and fitness journey.

  • Do I pay extra for instructions by your personal trainers?

    No, at SHAiPE there is always a personal trainer on the floor to discreetly guide you and give you instructions where needed. Furthermore, you will have a private session with one of our trainers every 8-12 weeks to review progress and adapt your training plan. All of this is included in the membership. If you with more One on One sesssions with a Trainer you can always book them separately in addition, those would come at an extra cost however.

  • Do I pay extra for scans?

    No, every 8-12 weeks you will do multiple body scans together with one of our trainers, to review your progress and set new goals.

  • How do I get to the SHAiPE studio by car, by train, or by bus?

    SHAiPE is located very close to the St. Leonards train station, so can easily be reached by train and bus. Furthermore, the Wilson Parking located at 77 Nicholson Street, St. Leonards offers 1.5 hours free parking and is right next door to the Landmark, where SHAiPE is located. 

  • Do you have the necessary expertise for rehab exercising?

    Yes, we have an exercise Physiologist who will help you get back on track after an injury. We have specific scans and equipment to make your rehabilitation as safe and fast as possible.

  • Can I fit a workout at SHAiPE into a one-hour lunch break?

    Yes, at SHAiPE you will make the most out of your time. Our circuit training allows you to train your whole body in 17.5 - 35 minutes.

  • Do I have to book my training sessions at SHAiPE?

    No, at SHAiPE you can do your workout however your schedule allows.

  • Do you offer classes?

    A big part of the SHAiPE experience is our circuit training. It has all the advantages of a small group class with the added benefit that you can do your training whenever you want. That means you will never work out alone and have a trainer to always help you out. Furthermore, we offer a program of weekly small classes based on our concept.
